Empowering the Dutch Flores Tower Project —— The International Practice of Our Ceramic Printed Laminated Glass

As a practitioner deeply engaged in the field of ceramic printed laminated glass for many years, I am extremely proud to share today that our ceramic printed laminated glass has successfully partnered with the Dutch Flores Tower renders project. With professional product quality and customized solutions, we have injected unique glass aesthetics and safety guarantees into this landmark building that combines artistry and functionality, and also achieved an important breakthrough in our products entering the international high-end construction market.

The Dutch Flores Tower renders project is located in Almere, in the core area of the 2022 World Horticultural Expo. Designed by the renowned architectural firm MVRDV, it is a composite landmark building integrating exhibition, commerce and residence, with a total height of 43.5 meters. The core design concept of the project is to convert the images of 1,800 species of plants and trees in the surrounding botanical garden into layered artistic compositions through digital scripting technology, and print them on the building curtain wall to create a vertical "panoramic scroll of plants", thereby conveying the design core of "symbiosis between humans and nature". This work of art is also named "Sympoiesis", demonstrating the in-depth integration of contemporary architecture and nature.

When we first received the project invitation, we deeply understood the weight of this cooperation —— as a local visual focus, the curtain wall glass of Flores Tower not only needs to perfectly present complex plant patterns, but also meet the strict requirements of outdoor buildings, including multiple standards such as UV resistance, weather resistance, safety and optical clarity, which puts extremely high challenges on the craftsmanship and performance of glass products. Our ceramic printed laminated glass, with years of technical accumulation and product iteration, has become the optimal choice of the project party, which is not only a recognition of our product strength, but also an international test of technology and quality.

In the process of project cooperation, we have always focused on "accurately restoring the design vision and strictly controlling product quality", fully cooperated with the project's design team throughout the whole process, and launched customized R&D and production. In response to the project needs, we adopted high-end ceramic digital printing technology to accurately reproduce the detailed images of 1,800 plants on the glass surface, with a printing accuracy of 720dpi, achieving photo-level clarity and color restoration, making the texture and color of each plant clearly distinguishable, which perfectly fits the artistic design concept of MVRDV. At the same time, through double-layer glass synchronous printing technology, we ensure that the patterns on both sides are completely consistent, making the artistry of the building facade more integrated and hierarchical.

As the core material of the building curtain wall, safety and weather resistance are the top priorities. Our ceramic printed laminated glass adopts a double-layer glass lamination structure, with a high-strength PVB/SGP film layer embedded in the middle. It can not only effectively fill the gaps between LED lamp beads and achieve perfect bonding, but also avoid fragment splashing when the glass is impacted, maximizing the safety of the building and personnel, and fully complying with the relevant specifications for the application of architectural glass. At the same time, we selected nano-scale inorganic ceramic ink, which is permanently integrated with the glass after high-temperature sintering and tempering treatment, with extremely strong weather resistance, UV resistance and acid-base resistance. Even if it is exposed to the outdoor environment in the Netherlands for a long time, it can keep the pattern from fading or falling off, ensuring the long-term retention of the artistic texture of the building facade, and completely solving the pain point that traditional printed glass is not suitable for outdoor use.

In addition, our products also perfectly balance functionality and practicality. The ceramic printing layer can accurately control the light transmittance according to needs, realizing the hierarchical change of the brightness of the light-emitting points. It not only ensures the lighting needs inside the building, but also makes the plant patterns on the curtain wall present different visual effects at different times through light and shadow changes, echoing the surrounding botanical garden landscape, and further highlighting the project's design theme of "symbiosis between humans and nature". At the same time, the product supports large-size customization to meet the installation needs of different specifications of the project curtain wall. Our production team strictly controls every process, from the selection of glass raw sheets, pattern printing, lamination compounding to finished product inspection, following international standards throughout the whole process to ensure that each piece of glass meets the project requirements, and finally completed the delivery on time to ensure the smooth progress of the project.

Today, the Dutch Flores Tower has become a local landmark, and its unique panoramic plant curtain wall has become a beautiful scenic spot in the city. Behind this, it is inseparable from the empowerment of our ceramic printed laminated glass. When the sun shines on the building facade, the 1,800 plant patterns on the glass are lifelike, which not only realizes the expression of artistic aesthetics, but also takes into account the safety and practicality of the building. This is the core embodiment of our product concept of "coexistence of art and function, and parallel of quality and responsibility", and also confirms the strong competitiveness of our ceramic printed laminated glass in the high-end construction field.

The successful cooperation with the Dutch Flores Tower renders project is not only an important milestone for our products to enter the international market, but also accumulated valuable experience in international project services. In the future, we will continue to deepen our efforts in the field of ceramic printed laminated glass, constantly iterate technology and optimize products, and empower more high-end construction projects at home and abroad with more professional customized solutions and stricter quality control, so that the quality and craftsmanship of Chinese glass manufacturing can go to the world and shine.
